About
Halo Designs is a graphic design business founded by me, Angel Fischer. I have more than 20 years of professional graphic design experience, a strong background working for and with commercial printers, and a B.A. in English. In 1999, while still working full-time for a non-profit organization, I finally fulfilled my dream of starting my own business, Halo Designs. In 2006, Halo Designs became my full-time pursuit. My focus at Halo Designs is to help small businesses and nonprofits present their ideas in an effective and creative way, while providing excellent customer service at a reasonable rate.

Print & Digital Design
For me, graphic design is the perfect intersection of art and the written word. I love the way words can speak to you in just the right font and how good design can lead you effortlessly through a maze of information. As a designer, it is my goal to take your message and turn it into something beautiful that other people will want to read and remember.
Whether you need traditional print materials, digital messaging, or something unique, my graphic design work can enhance your brand. And, if you need a new or improved website, I can provide template-based designs with a custom twist (like this one I built on Squarespace).
Businesses aren't the only ones who deserve beautiful designs. Logos & Branding

A traditional font with simple artwork can convey stability and trustworthiness; whereas a bold font with abstract artwork may express that you’re innovative and dynamic. Whether you’re starting from scratch or updating your look, I can create a logo that sends the right message to your audience.

Marketing materials that look fantastic may draw people in, but you also need text that is equally impressive. As an English major, I learned to think critically and express myself clearly. With these skills, I can fine-tune what you’ve already written or take your ideas and turn them into a creative, compelling message. I can also help you think outside the box with your content. I’ve used my own photography to enhance client materials. I can also create mazes, puzzles, photo collages, and more to give you that extra edge.
